Pakistan is fortunate to have Nadia Jamil as one of our top celebrity voices. In her career, the actress has not only given us some great projects but has also shown us what resilience and determination are. Though she has battled a terrible disease and been through some tough experiences in life, she is always the first to speak out for the underprivileged and children who are exploited.

A year ago, Nadia Jamil was facing an issue with her daughter Nuri’s medical visa paperwork and asked for help. Adopting a child is taboo in Pakistan, and many people refrain from discussing such matters in public. However, Nadia is a proud mother and doesn’t see anything to do with Taboo.

Her biological children are two and two foster children. In addition, she adopted a daughter named Noorie when she met her as a baby. During Nadia’s guest appearance on Mazaq Raat, we met her gorgeous Noorie and saw her having lots of fun on the set.

She also recounted a miracle she witnessed with Noorie. Despite the fact that Noorie could not see when she met her, she was so full of life. That’s when she decided to adopt the baby, and her husband supported her decision. There was a fear that Noorie wouldn’t be able to see and would need a corneal transplant when she was 2.5 years old, but Allah made a miracle happen.

Their doctor prescribed them some eyedrops as an experimental study and Noorie was able to see.
