Having the motivation to study is a difficult task alone, but then going to Oxford is a whole different thing. It’s surely not impossible. Kanza Azeemi, a student from Lahore from the University of Management Sciences with a major in Economics (distinction) 2013, just got awarded the highest academic honor as an MBA student at the University of Oxford. Not only this, but she got this among 327 students hailing from 58 different countries. She was awarded this by Peter Tufano, the dean of Oxford who announced her success at the end of the event which was held at Oxford’s Sheldonian Theatre.

This prize is usually only given to one lucky student who the university thinks deserves it and has contributed to their respective program. The dean was kind enough to acclaim Kanza’s position on the dean’s list and acknowledge her contributions as Co-Chair of the Women’s Leadership Oxford Business Network, their main goal was to promote gender equality.

We can only imagine how proud Kanza has made her parents. Imagine having a child and then your child ventures forth into being shortlisted as a student at Oxford, but wait, they then achieve the highest academic award! I mean, woaaaah! That’s way too much to absorb and be proud of. Good on you, Kanza! We wish you all the very best in life and may you continue defying odds!
