A Pakistani Girl Visited India for 9 Days and her Adventure Is Worth Looking At!

When we see things on the news channel and on the social media, safe to say, the image depicted by our political agendas just shows how a Pakistani would never be allowed to travel to the Indian soil. From the films to the politicians, there’s always tension between India and Pakistan, based on the political movements. However, does it mean that every Indian and Pakistani is alike?

We once shared the same soil with the Indians – we have similar cultural values and somewhat, the practices as well. An avid Pakistani traveler would definitely want to explore India and vice versa. The Dubai-based Pakistani blogger took the opportunity to visit India and lived her lifelong dream!

As an advertising professional, Sarah shares her interests in travel, lifestyle, and food as blogging. To check off another country from her traveling list, Sarah applied for a visa to India and things worked smoothly for her.

“The visa process can be a bit long but the process isn’t very difficult. I had all my documents ready in November and I applied through BLS as soon as I received the documentation from India (my friend as my sponsor had to send documents too). It took about a month and a half for my visa to come through but luckily it did without hassle.”

On her 9-day long trip to India, Sarah visited numerous locations across the country. From Mumbai to Delhi, she traveled and made her dream a reality.

Here’s a Summary of What Sarah Did

Attended an Indian Wedding

“It was my first proper Indian wedding. I made new friends, I also learnt that Pakistanis and Indians are so alike.” And do we need to speak about the yummy ‘shaadi ka khana’? “The food I had in Delhi was similar to our food! I could easily mistake North of India as Pakistan!”

She Slayed the Desi Fashion

“Women I met kept complimenting the beauty of Pakistani women and their sense of fashion. I was surprised that so many of them knew Pakistani fashion designers so well.”

And Of Course, There Was Some Traveling As Well

“In Mumbai I visited Causeway in Colaba, Gateway of India, the Taj Mahal Hotel and Towers, I ate at Brittania & Co (the famous Parsi restaurant) etc. I was staying at Taj Lands End so the view of the Sea Link was phenomenal. I also got to see Mannat (still can’t believe I stayed so close to Shah Rukh Khan)”

Indeed, it seems Sarah enjoyed the hospitality of India and makes all of us want to visit our neighbors one day as well. For more, visit her Instagram: @asliceoflifebysarah.
