Infidelity is costly sometimes, it may cost people a hell lot of tears and heartbreak! This is a question that the world wants to know. Well, a couple of researchers suggest that you could be doing everything right and your partner would still be cheating; it has nothing to do with you and the feelings you share. Cheating/infidelity is the most distressing thing in a romantic relationship. So, it’s important to understand what motivates people to cheat on their partners.

One Ted Talk that is very important to be mentioned here that made roars on the internet since almost everyone can relate to it. Fisher and her team of scientists had a research conducted upon which she had her whole Ted Talk. The research found that the brain reacts similarly to looking at a picture of someone they love as when it does when a person has an orgasm or takes cocaine.

Helen Fisher is an anthropologist and human behavior researcher

Helen Fisher said in her Ted Talk:

“That person becomes the center of the world. You have an intense craving to be with that person, not just sexually, but emotionally. You can list the things you don’t like about them, but all that gets pushed aside and you focus only on what you do like about them. It’s an obsession.”

Plus, it is all a myth that a person who is having a lack of communication, or someone who seems detached is more likely to cheat on their partners. A happy spouse who loves the partner and is doing everything that an ideal relationship needs but would still be cheating. Sounds weird. Right? Almost half of the married couples from the percentage of 100, there’s always one partner who would be cheating. Many men who cheat say that is clearly very happy with their marriage. Well, technology is backing cheating spouses much for their benefit.
