The controversy and fight between India and Pakistan over Kashmir is a matter which has not taken years, but also hundreds and thousands of innocent lives. Caught between the barbaric actions, Kashmir bleeds everyday and the world is now immune to their pain. Each day, the news of Kashmir and its locals flashes in news, yet no one steps up to resolve the matter.
Shahid Afridi, on the other hand, is probably a superstar, a public figure who is bold enough to comment on the brutality which takes place in Kashmir. Off and on, Boom Boom Afridi has voiced his concerns over how the matter of Kashmir NEEDS to be resolved, for innocent lives are at stake.
Shahid Afridi Strikes Back Again On the Matter of Kashmir
In a presser, Afridi was asked to comment on the matter of Kashmir. He started off by saying that do not give Kashmir to Pakistan, nor India. Why? Because Kashmir needs to be its own state. Afridi said, “Humanity needs to stay alive. What about the humans who are dying everyday because of this?”
Afridi then added, “Nahi chaiye Pakistan ko. Pakistani sae ye chaar soobay (provinces) nahi handle hurahe. Kashmir ko apne main rehne du. Waha log marr rahe hai, takleef hoti hai,”

And Yes, Hell Did Loose After Afridi’s Remarks Went Viral on Both Sides of the Neighbors
#ShahidAfridi is desperate to capture lavish Indian market, he is desperate to please Indians for selfish reasons. For his entire cricket career, he played selfish game, now cricket career is over, playing dirty game by sabotaging the respect of his country to please Indians.

And It Included A Number of Attacks

I will strongly urge #ShahidAfridi NOT to peddle into domains that do not belong to him. His comments of "freedom" are an absolute insult to millions of Kashmiris who fight, die & are buried every day for the last 70 years for this Green Crescented flag! pic.twitter.com/zIx3uvX87F

From India As Well
Shahid Afridi’s biggest betrayal to his fellow veteran cricketer Imran Khan. Afridi at House of Commons In UK says, Pakistan cannot manage/control its own 4 provinces, how will it handle Kashmir? Pakistan doesn’t want Kashmir. Story we broke on @Republic TV and followed by all. pic.twitter.com/y83VWeKFOV

On the Other Hand, People Came Forward with Support As Well
I agree with Shahid Afridi, Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris only, let them decide who they want to be with or without.

Shahid Afridi ne kuch bhe ghalat nae kaha.
Kashmir belongs to KASHMIRIS, it was an independent state & should be one.— Ayeshay (@champagne_lassi) November 14, 2018

Will Addressing the Backlash, Afridi Made the Following Tweet
My comments are being misconstrued by Indian media! I'm passionate about my country and greatly value the struggles of Kashmiris. Humanity must prevail and they should get their rights.
— Shahid Afridi (@SAfridiOfficial) November 14, 2018
And Sort Of…Changed his Complete Statement…
My clip is incomplete & out of context as what I said before that is missing.Kashmir is unresolved dispute & under brutal Indian occupation. It must be resolved as per UN resolution. Myself along with every Pakistani support Kashmiri freedom struggle. Kashmir belongs to Pakistan.
— Shahid Afridi (@SAfridiOfficial) November 14, 2018
Well, Afridi did not quite abide by the statement, the words he used in the video that went viral but with the intensity he said, one has to agree that he meant them, and probably not these tweets.
In any case, Kashmir IS the matter that needs a lot of attention and yes, humanity above all.
