To the Famous Renowned Beauty Salon of Karachi- You Had No Right To Insult Your Customer!

3587 views

The problem with our salons here is they have gained way too much publicity and fame because of which they pay no heed to the common people out there, like me. They charge thousands of rupees for their services just to treat us like shit in the end and justify it by saying “kya karlogi?”

My mother advised me to not let go of my respect for money but the point is if I don’t raise my voice against this such elite parlors will continue exploiting us.

Dear ‘famous’ salon an its owner,

You were a complete turn off for me. You are spending millions on your advertisements, salon’s outlook and the luxurious parlor does no good if you treat your customers like shit. Also, calling in Indian celebrities and posting their pictures on your Facebook page does not give you the right to disrespect your customers. So what? Just like any other customer, I came rushing in at 4:30 pm yesterday to get my hair done for a birthday party. Since I usually get a blow dry done; I decided to get it done. I went to this ‘famous’ salon because:

A) It is WIDELY known for its hair services, mehndi and gora karne wala, overly done make-up.

B) My cousin advised me to give it a try.

I showed pictures of the kind of blow dry I wanted and even my past blow-dried hair pictures to that woman who said she will give the best look she can. She set the curler brushes and all, and around 5:55 pm she asked another woman to remove the brushes and set my hair (and she ran away and was never to be found they kept searching her but it was like she vanished after ruining my hair. LOL). The look after the brushes removed was TERRIBLE! It was like someone has played with my hair and left it as it is.

I could give myself a better blow dry than that at home! They wasted my time and my money and I quickly called another woman to “fix it”. I was running late and I said I need my payment back! They said they will fix it and they did it in 5-minutes. It was pathetic! I couldn’t create a scene because my brother was waiting in the car and we were already late for the birthday. I told them to just let go of me and that I will come and take my money back.

I came at 6:15 pm (I live 2 mins away from the Salon). I demanded my money back which was MY RIGHT AS A CUSTOMER. They ruined my look and wasted my money. They refused to do so and I told them I won’t leave until and unless I get my money back.

You see, I didn’t need to beg for the money back but their careless attitude was triggering me. It got to the point that they even said, “Bheek kyun maang rahi ho?” No bro no. Ap saqda samajh ke rakhlo wo paise. But seriously, such a big Salon?

Is that what our money means to you? This is the kind of workers you have there? One of them even said “bakwas band karo” when I shouted and told them to just pay me back my money, I don’t need anything else. And all this time, the disrespectful receptionist kept on saying “kya karlogi?” It’s like you do wrong and not even agree that you did wrong. Obviously, a parlor that earns millions from the media industry wouldn’t give a shit to the ordinary people complaining about their services. Aam insaan ki koi ehmiat nahe rehti jab inke naak oonche hojaen.

Pathetic management and pathetic experience. Not ever going to this salon, ever again. I felt insulted as a customer and even worse when they wrongfully took money for a service that was not even a service. It was not about the money, it was about you accepting and rightfully doing what you should have done. Haraam ka kama ke milega bhe kya tumlogon ko?

And I thought I am the only one with such complaint but not a single, I repeat, NOT a single good comment came for this salon in the plenty of posts I had shared on different groups. You guys must’ve seen the image I have shared of my hair and the so-called ‘blow out’.

Remember guys, being a customer,  the services are like a contract for you. And you have ALL THE RIGHT to get what you pay for. And if not, then at least a good attitude. But sorry Kashees, you were a shame.
