But the torture doesn’t end there because as soon as the couple returns from their honeymoon, the typical questions that are asked are” Hum naani daadi kab ban rahay hain? Khusi ki khabar kab a rahi hai?” etc. It is one thing that sometimes leads to having problems with your marriage. Even if you give them their desires pota or poti after their emotional black mailing, the only thing that gets destroyed is your parenting because not every couple is mentally or physically ready to have a child’; immediately after their marriage.

It’s time that we realize that a wife is not just there to be a baby making machine – she is much more than that. She is your best friend, your soul mate, your companion and your life partner but sometimes, in the race of getting a hire for your throne, you lose that precious life that you vowed to spend your whole life with but now she is no more. We as a nation claim to be living in the 21st century but are we acting according to it? Where are the women rights? Isn’t it her right to live her life with her husband without any social pressure of anything and have a planned child? Stop treating your wives like a maid. Be her life partner and act according to it because a woman died while she was delivering her baby which even left the doctor in tears. It broke the heart of millions who gave it a read.
