We live in the  21st century, the age of modernization but still, people judge couples on the biases of age difference and beauty. Yasra Rizvi tied the knot with Abdul Hadi in 2016, and they make a great, incredible couple and share good chemistry.

However, she has been often criticized for marrying a younger man than her, but she lives a happy married life and doesn’t care much about haters.

34-year-old Yasra Rizvi’s marriage has attracted widespread criticism from ‘social justice warriors’, moral police, and those who use religion to critique everything.

Abdul Hadi is allegedly 10 years younger than his wife. He’s also in the final stages of completing his Masters’s degree and thus doesn’t have a reliable source of income.

A recent interview, with iffat Omar Show Yasra Rizvi, talked about how she met with her husband and said:

“Me and my husband are very good friends. He is very close to me. We met at the stage of life when he came from Abbottabad; his sister is my friend, who is a fine artist and actress. We used to live in the same neighborhood, and we met there. I was very fat, and he was a bodybuilder, and he had an interest in weight loss, that’s how we became friends.”

“In my life, there were many ups and downs, and he was there for me. So we decided to get married because we couldn’t think that we can marry someone else.”

She further added, “I think for a person like me, there is nothing more long-lasting than love, so this was a wise part of my decision that I gave priority to friendship in marriage, and he stood with me.”

She further explains how people called bad names; it hurt her in the past. People Troll her on social media. “I didn’t care about people, but I was hurt when people called me ‘pedophile’ for marrying somebody ten years younger than me. I have been called a ‘cougar,’ ‘sex addict,’ ‘maniac,’ and somebody who has been interested in a younger man. We never called men with such names even they marry younger girls.”

Hadi proposed to Yasra Rizvi during a morning show on a popular local TV channel. The Islamabad-born actress, who boasts a five-year acting experience, was all giggly as she said yes & accepted Hadi’s ring.

Yasra debuted on TV in a small role. Her first directorial project & entrance into the movie industry are set to be via Senti Aur Mental. Hadi, on the other hand, is a drama serial producer.
