The new national crush of people that have won millions of heart because he’s CLASSY AF, Ahad Raza Mir, happens to be the son of famous Pakistani TV actor Asif Raza Mir. And now, Ahad has earned his name by his hard work and dedication in the industry. Ahad had his debut in the very famous and controversial drama called “Sammi”. He may not have a very big role in that drama but he did his best to make people notice and that was when people decided that they wanted to see more of him on screen.
After “Saami” Ahad’s most celebrated work so far was “Yaqeen ka Safar” in which he came completely transformed himself. He had long hair and no beard. However, it did take him some time to transform into Dr. Asfandyar. At the beginning of “Yaqeen ka Safar”, he did not have any major role but as the drama came closer to the end, Dr. Asfandyar was everywhere and people went crazy over his character! Now the famous Dr. Asfandyar opened about his new project “Aangan” and he told about his role where he’s playing someone totally different than his previous role. The pre-partition drama serial has a wonderful cast of Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Mawra Hocane, Ahsan Khan and Soniya Hussyn.

Ahad said:
“Jameel is the most confusing character I have ever played. He is a poet, he is a politician, he’s somebody who is on a journey of what love means, what family bonds mean, somebody who is actually quite relatable to everyone out there.”

When asked about working with Sajal Aly he said:
“We work in similar ways; our understanding of how we approach our work and our thinking, in general, is quite similar. I can vouch for how she works on set; she is somebody who is just committed to the craft, committed to doing good work. She doesn’t care about how she looks, she cares about what makes sense for the character, what makes sense for the story. After seeing her in Aangan, I believe she can do anything. I am very lucky to have worked with her. I feel that’s the kind of work and people we need in the industry.”
