Karachi was once a place where if you live, either you are a fearless warrior and if you are a visitor “never let your mother know”! If you are a Pakistani you would know what is being talked about here. From target killing to blasts and street crimes, Karachi once was the worst place to live on the face of the earth. Things changed with time and now no more boriyan are made and no bakra eid khalein are collected (IYKWIM) ;).
Now, the city is in a much safer state and so are the people. But what happened today morning at 9 am was not something anyone would expect! While everyone almost reached their offices, schools, and universities the news spread that Chinese consulate is attacked by the terrorists.
The attack was foiled by the security forces of Karachi, and saved the consulate from a much greater loss! But little did the people know that who was behind combating this attack. Who made it possible to not have any chaos in the city and made sure everyone remains at their respective places peacefully.
Have you seen this brave woman before? If you haven’t, now you should. She’s Suhai Aziz, Assistant Superintendent of police. She was the first one to run to Chinese consulate upon hearing the gunshots and blasts outside the building.
She was successful in peacefully eradicating the attack and bringing all the terrorist down. During the operation, two police officers were martyred and a security guard was injured.
While all three terrorists were killed right on the spot, and police seized many explosives including (hand grenade, magazines, Kalashnikov bullets).
Suhai Aziz is the first female police officer to receive praises for her bravery by many people!
