It is true that the empowered, empower. So why can’t we root each other and watch one another grow? My name is Raina Khan and I am a 16-year-old Pakistani woman who got selected amongst 23 dynamic ladies from all over Pakistan to attend a fully funded exchange program to the United States.

Upon coming back to my country, without any delay, I initiated a project on women empowerment to help the women of my nation. I am currently running an NGO, Zenana Pakistan, which is a network I have spread out not only to Lahore but Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and cities like Haripur as well.

I broke all the stereotypical barriers laid before me by the society and carried out a door to door campaign to collect donations in order to open schools for women of any age to provide free education in the near future. Without waiting for the donations to get collected, I have started to teach 30 women at my house every day.

Educate Women to Eradicate Poverty!

It is true that empowered women, empower women. Join Zenana and help us spread awareness, provide education and employment, based on merit to the women of our nation!

The organization that I have found does not only collect donations in the form of cash or cheques but recyclable and reusable items also make a lot of difference!

My message to the women of my nation is that no matter how old you are, every creed is capable of doing something. One person can start an initiative but together we can bring a positive change!
