In our society, some families never allow their girls to get the education and to fulfill their dreams. But, when it comes to their son they are allowed to do anything they want because they are boys!

What about girls and their dreams? When will we start raising our voice and break this kind of stereotypes? If we ask a girl about her aims, she will surely answer that, “I want to be a doctor”, “I want to be a successful designer”, “I want to fly, want to be an air hostess”.

But she will end the conversation with, “My parents won’t allow me to study”, “They want me to get married”, “Shadi k baad parhne ka kehrhay hain mere fiance”. And who takes the guarantee that the man with whom your daughter is getting married to, will allow her to fulfill her dreams? Okay, I agree that there are good families and good husbands out there who will allow their wives and support her.

But what about that girl who ends up shattering her dreams because she gets married to a man who won’t allow her and not support her? We should take a stand on this issue, we should let girls fulfill their dreams and they will show you that they are not weak and you will be proud of her.
