First, for women, Pakistan is sure known to be that country! First female Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto and the first female to ever climb Mount Everest, Samina Baig. She was not only the first woman to climb Everest but also the youngest, she was 21 when she achieved this milestone.
There’s another woman who got her name in this shinning list of “the first woman” Helena Saeed! Helena became the first ever female Additional Inspector General (AIG) police in the history of Pakistan.
The proud smile and the warm welcome by the fellow police officers say it all!
She’s currently the highest ranking police officer in Police Service of Pakistan (PSP)
From Quetta, she’s not only the first ever female to achieve this rank but also she is the first individual from Balochistan to do that!

Helena and her husband are a true inspiration to all Pakistanis. Her husband ASP Rizwan Khan Tareen from CSS 19th CTP embraced Shahadat! It was after his martyrdom, Helena decided to take along his mission of serving the country and became a rare example! She was honored to be the first female CSS officer.
