It is not so common that Bollywood actors visit Pakistan. However, the veteran actress of Bollywood industry, Juhi Chawla was spotted in Karachi yesterday as she has some family friends and relatives living in the country. She shared a picture of the visit on her official Instagram and Twitter account. She wrote:
“In Karachi, out for lunch to the Boat Club with family friends… and then to the movies …a delightful Pakistani romcom ‘Jawani Phir Nahin Ani’ … which coincidentally had a full Indian girl Pakistani boy love story”

Soon after sharing the picture, social media users from Pakistan started sending her love and welcomed Juhi for coming to Pakistan. A few from across the border felt their responsibility to give her the title of ‘a traitor.’

This is not the first time that Juhi Chawla came to Pakistan. She is a regular visitor since she has family living in the city. Like her previous visits, Juhi kept the details of her trip private and shared very little except a single picture on social media. We can hope that Indian media won’t take Juhi Chawla’s private visit as serious as Najot Singh Sidhu’s visit who came to Pakistan last month to take part in the oath-taking ceremony of Imran Khan.
