Some days back, Mathira announced that she is getting divorced from her husband Flint J, which resulted in society blaming her yet another time after she put up a post on post-divorce problems.
When it comes to her personal life, she always chooses to keep it a secret even her wedding was a secret affair that she later disclosed when people speculated of having someone special in her life. Although it didn’t work out for her, now she is facing the same issue that any normal woman would face – being blamed for not being good enough for her husband which lead him to seek another woman.

The dilemma of society judging a woman over her past no matter where she reaches in the future would always be the saddest part. She also mentioned that now she won’t be asking her husband for more love and time which indicated her importance in the suffocating marriage. Plus in the end, she congratulated her former husband for getting back his long-lost freedom.
It’s disappointing to see how people around you can turn their minds and hearts blind to the reasons that persuaded a woman to make such a decision. Though after all the struggle and sufferings, she had come up as a warrior who is prepared for whatever is coming her way, along with protecting her son and providing him with the best things possible by playing the role of both parents.
