Model Saheefa Jabbar Khattak Gives a ‘Shut Up Call’ to All those who Criticized Her Haircut

Living in a society where women are criticized on a daily basis truly sums up the mentality of our nation. Be it an ordinary girl or someone famous, every woman goes through it. And, when it comes to Pakistan’s fashion industry, super models are mostly in the news with regards to their new appearance, relationships and what not.

Just recently, successful Pakistani model, Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, who gained fame in a very short span, was also in the news. Why you may ask? Well, Saheefa was also victimized for her appearance when her pictures were posted online just because she got a pixie haircut – Just a haircut…

Saheefa has been part of multiple lawn campaigns and the pictures of her recent campaign went viral where she was shamed to such an extent that people posted comments such as: “Kuri hai ya munda?”, “Gay model” etc.  In response to all the comments, she decided to go live on her Facebook profile and speak her heart out to her defense.

In this video, Saheefa was on point and gave a shut up call to all her haters who constantly bashed her. Not only that, but she also talked about how to educate our new generation and how we should change our mindsets and goals. She also shared her experiences where at certain places she was considered a male because of her haircut.

Saheefa also told her audience that, “Pakistan is moving towards a major downfall and we need to lift ourselves as a nation first instead of judging one another.” She sure has set an example for all those women out there who struggle with the same situation on daily basis. It’s time our society changes the way they think and focus more on making Pakistan a better place to live and educating our future generation, rather than judging each other on social media and expressing hate.
