Every year, Coke Studio gets bashed for that one song that goes terribly wrong – making them go viral in no time! No matter who is producing or directing  Coke Studio every season, there is this one song from the old times that makes everyone cringe to death! It somehow started when the old qawali of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was sung his grandson Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and our very own, Momina Mustehsan. That qawali was redone in coke studio and the fusion was hated by many but loved by all the tharkis to see the pretty lady that Momina is!

Saiyo Ni, Lal Meri, Ghoom tana and many more! Oh well, the singers were badly bashed and so was coke studio. This time, it’s yet another childhood song was redone by Coke Studio; they had Momina Mustehsan and Ahad Raza Mir in it. No no, Ahad didn’t act in it, but he sang the song. Yes, yes perfectly heard it right.

So, after the release of the song, what happened over social media completely got out of hands.

Clearly, a VAST MAJORITY of people didn’t like it at all.

Yes, as you may have seen, there was a great debate between Shireen Mazari and Momina on Twitter

Oops!

But no peace on Twitter, only pieces! Tukray tukray kar ditay nay 😀

So, the huge amount of dislike and hate that people showed over the internet on how Ahad was a wrong choice and how Momina always ruins all the childhood songs would definitely affect the artists themselves. There are many fans and followers who supported both Ahad and Momina over their song but not many spared them.

In many supporters, Sajal is one of them! This morning, she showed her support and asked people to stop the hate!

She has a very valid point to be honest. You don’t like it? Okay great. Scroll down your social media, change the channel on TV or switch to another song your playlist. How hard it is?

Let’s break this cycle of hate! Sajal raised her voice correctly

Why do people forget that these artists have a heart too! They too feel down when their work hated by a big majority and just hate the work but get personal and talk about their appearance and what not! Let’s rise above this.
