This Girl Has A “Munh Torh Jawab” For All The Rishta Aunties Who Ask For Pictures!

2457 views

In Pakistan, there is an age where a human is “eligible” to get married and that is right after you end your graduation or about to or have just enrolled in college. Well, the laser beam of aunties who scan through people for their kids is just beyond a common man’s understanding. Their sharp eyes are faster than a luggage scanner. These eyes will scan you from head to toe and will tell you your birth year, qualification, address, NIC number, favorite food and the last time you pooped. No jokes!

Apart from that, the rishta rituals are just another topic, which itself is another world of awkwardness. Well, if you are a sacha Pakistani, you’d know what is being mentioned here. The awkward rishta meeting where people come to see you. Like you are a furniture. LOL! Even worse than that, at least furniture does not have to present its customer/guest with samosa and chai. Or worse, sit like a mannequin and BEHAVE. Like, what even?

Remember the old saying; “Shadi ka lado jo khae wo pachtae, par jo na khae wo b pachtae”

So, even after all the shit that it takes to get scanned through a rishta process, nobody would raise a question on the system of it. But this girl just did it. She said that the next time you are asked for a rishta photo, counter them with asking about the guy’s salary slip. 😉

Here’s what she wrote and it’s AHMAZINNN’

“Girls, next time a rishta aunty asks your guardian for your picture, ask her to send a copy of the guy’s pay slip.
Shallowness can go both ways. If the guy’s family is justified in screening you on the basis of your picture, you’re justified in screening him on the basis of salary.
Insaan ko insaan ki trha samjhan aur parkhain..Na hum Furniture hain aur na hi aap OLX.

Insan ko insan samjhein, commodity nahi

Girls, next time a rishta aunty asks your guardian for your picture, ask her to send a copy of the guy's pay…

Next time they ask you to show your photo, you know what to do. Right? Let’s break this misogyny and stupid beauty standards. People are not what they appear to be, they are more than that. Kia samjhy? 😉
