Karachi is the 7th largest city in the world having diverse people belonging to the different backgrounds. The city caters to different people belonging to different backgrounds and not only males, but a big number of females are a part of different organizations whether they are big or small.

Educated women are an important part who are striving to achieve their goals whereas the city has no lack of opportunities for anyone educated. The more urbanization is promoted, the more of an eye-opener it becomes for every individual that how women are treated from their childhood as well as what are their rights in society.

Many of you might not have given this a thought about the rights of women especially living in the country like Pakistan in which women are just been considered to be housewives and take care of kids and family. Women are educated for the sole purpose – to get good proposals. Our thinking has not moved forward from so many decades and it’s badly stuck at one place.

Why is a woman’s life taken for granted and brought up from childhood for only one purpose? The life of women is more than a good rishta as well as finding a suitable guy for a lifetime.

Our society needs to broaden their mindset and move forward from this particular thought. Our society should encourage working women to step forward and be proud and stand with dignity in front of people because you are doing nothing wrong; especially the single women.

Most of the times, these women have to go through some difficult situations, the taunts of the aunties who lurk their eyes just to find something wrong and to pinpoint in front of everybody and being a gossip monger which they can’t control.

Life of working women in Pakistan is tough and getting tough day by day. The judging eyes, slow whispers plus the lingering nose of aunties are a pressurizing and tiring situation for unmarried and single women. This is exactly why some women suffer from depression yet, on the other hand, some of them become more strong to tackle the society their way.

Why are we shattering the confidence of our women and young girls instead of encouraging them to step forward and break all the stereotypes of society and make our country proud? Women just need one chance to shine like the sun and show how much capacity they are in the house as well as outside of their house.
