Seems like traveling alone has now become a major task for young girls in Pakistan. If you’ve been using the private taxis, you would know this better than anyone else. Be it going to your college, work or even house, the private cab drivers are now finding ways to harass young girls who travel alone. They find ways harass them by either texting them asking them to be friends, exposing her number on social media, starting a useless conversation and what not.

This has now started to worry as a lot of girls found these private taxis to be safe to travel around in, initially. Little do the cab drivers know that their filthy acts are now being exposed to social media. Way to go, girls! This should set their minds right. Another incident surfaced the internet and this time it was unbelievable!

Today me and my friend were traveling. We called careem at 9.00pm at our desired location. This person whose information i am sharing is an animal. He is unfortunately a careem captain and ofcourse a Harami person. Sorry for the slang but ye banda isse ziada deserve karta hai. Suar ki nasal -_-
Me and my friend usually share careem as we have same routes. She usually drop me first cause mera ghar pehle parhta hai. Today, after dropping me this harami person was dislocating the route like my friend was continuously telling him to take the right route and he was continuously going in the dark streets. And then starting talking bullshit that *meri apki dosti hosakti hai* and us k thori der baad what she observes he was bringing his hands trying to touch his knees i mean seriously. She just screamed k gari roken and he was like ohh sorry maine to ride start ki hi nahi. He was such a sharp man k usne jaan bujh k shuru se ab tak ride hi start nahi ki thi cause wo start main hi samajh gaya tha k ye larkian hain and mujhe ye karna hai and jabhi there is no history in recent rides option but he forgot k careem se message b ajata hai so yahan wo pakra gaya. My friend tried to bring him on main road and he made a stop jaise taise. He again tried to start the ride and talking bullshit k ap to bura maan gayin itna to chalta hai. Jaise taise she tried to escape and took a rickshaw.
The purpose of writing this like aj to hum bach gaye but kal ko aisi bht si larkian hain who use careem on daily basis. Aj hamare sath hua kal ko un k sath b hosakta hai. Cause he was a frustrated guy no wonder shakal se hi darinda lag raha tha ganja manhus admi.
Please be aware girls and spread this.

P.s Careem karna to ap ne kuch hai nahi still you need to take strict action against it.

We truly need to condemn such acts, and to all the girls out there who feel that “beecharay ki rozi roti chale jayegi.. “ by complaining. Things will get worse and won’t stop if you don’t put it out there. You will be putting another girl’s life in danger and your’s too. These men need to realize they can’t show their tharak whenever and wherever they want to. This needs to stop.

However, speaking to Parhlo, when Beenish filed her complaint, Careem got back to her and handled the situation very professionally.

Here’s what she had to say:

I got a call from careem’s lahore office first. Then on the other day I got a call from Careem UAE in the morning. They listened to the scenario and gave me assurity to terminate the driver and they also restricted the drivers services and blocked his id. Plus called him in their karachi office.
