Yumna Zaid so far needs no introduction, after she the better half of Zaid Ali! Zaid Ali the guy who proved every desi parent wrong, who says that the root cause of everything is “using the mobile phone” but he sure changed the face of that. Zaid earns a living from making videos, and why not? They all say do what you feel best in, and later no one follows that. Some three years ago, Zaid bought his dad Mercedez Benz, from his own hard earned money.

Well, people loved him for his gesture. People love him anyway, and when he introduced Yumna to his Youtube family, people loved her even more.

Aren’t they the cutest?

But who knew that behind this very lavish and happy lifestyle that they both enjoy, has a back story too?!

Yumna just shared her transformation story on her Instagram and it is eye-opening! She lowkey called Pakistani mindset conservative, and how it actually hit her lowest in life when everything was going fine!

“When I was 5, my family immigrated to Canada. This is a picture of me at the age of 10. Growing up, I was never made to feel “fat” or “dark” because my family and the people around me never made me feel that way. The culture in Canada is such that you are not judged based on your appearance, skin colour, or cast but how you act. In 1999, when I went back to Pakistan, I was hit with rude remarks and cunning looks because of the way I looked. I was called ugly, fat left and right. Some people thought I would never get married. Everyone felt the need to give me unsolicited advice wherever I went. And I was genuinely confused ??‍♀️ I would think, why do these people care about my looks? I look great ?? and if I actually am fat, how come no one ever told me before? So I decided to ask my mom … and she said Yumnah, don’t focus on what other people are saying. Your skin is something you can’t change just remember it’s always about how you carry yourself. And always carry yourself with confidence!”

Yumna was made to feel a lot less for what she appeared but her mother’s advice saved her! And yes, Yumna was quite obedient in listening to her, today if anyone sees her, she nothing but full of confidence! Kudos, girl!
