The video, in 12 seconds perfectly describes what it’s like to be a student who works his a** off just so he could get an expensive degree and score a secure job and keep fighting for promotions and bonuses till you die. When you feel like you have had enough, you know the burden is unbearable but you got to smile and keep doing what you are doing. Did you know the average person spends 90,000 hours at work over their lifetime?
Train us till 10, educate us till 25, make us work on jobs and fight for promotions till 50. Oh, I forgot! Who’s gonna get treatments for all of the harm done by now? Let’s now struggle for our health till we die. The painter might lose his creativity for Laws, the writer might lose his words for formulas, the traveler might lose his adventures for a desk job, a designer might lose his designs for formal dressing and an actor would lose his acting for presentations.
They all might make you feel how important a degree is, compared to your dignity and passion. You might stick in the realm of early morning classes, full attendance, good GPA, learn to stay quiet in front of a lecturer even if you know he is wrong (everyone knows too) but what’s more important than a GPA that lecturer would pour onto your transcript and lastly, learn to fight with your class fellows because “MARKET”.
The market would only accept the finest of you all so don’t let your fellows excel in any way possible. All of this is for a piece of paper, we call a ‘degree’ because that’s your way to eternal slavery. You got stomachs to feed and stay away from the insult of being different. You don’t have a better option, do you?
Slaves – I would name this “factory” producing so-called perfect humans having the same education, mindset, learning, training and every bit of it just to get the same sort of jobs, as slaves.
There are still many requirements for being a perfect “MARKET” slave that is;
1. Smile the brightest
2. Follow the rules
3. Pretend like you don’t know what is happening
4. Feel special because not everyone gets an opportunity to be a slave
