Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was in Karachi for his election campaign. He met and greeted locals of Karachi and with his courteousness, people were suddenly reminded of his late mother and the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan. She ruled everyone’s heart. Being her son people have a lot of hopes from Bilawal.

Recently, when he was on his visit to Karachi, Bilawal went to a shrine and was warmly welcomed by people. With the generous welcome by people who gave him hugs and roses, one of the people kissed him on the cheek and he pushed him away! This very act was aired on TV and internet made fun of it. It was all fun and games until a very famous model, Sadaf Kanwal posted a screenshot from the shrine video and wrote on it “#MeToo” with…. a laughing emoji. After this, people who supported this campaign of #MeToo really got triggered.

Here’s the post:

“Without wasting even a second on formalities, I’d like to get straight into the issue here. What you see in the picture below is an instagram story screenshot from Model Sadaf Kanwal‘s story, casually joking about the #metoo hashtag with a “?
I see this even in daily life how men and women indulge in casual sexism and casual racism without taking into account of how wrong and offensive that is. It only shows lack of basic mannerism and education.

For those of you who aren’t aware, #metoo was the campaign that helped millions of people around the world, men and women alike to share their stories of physical abuse with the world.
It is through this hashtag that international harassers like Harvey Wenstein and desi predators like The CEO of Patari Khalid Bajwa were brought down.
This hashtag is NOT something you use casually in a comedic conversation. This hashtag is not something you use as a joke. This hashtag needs the respect it deserves.

You might think that i could be overreacting over an emoji and a word but it’s never about the word itself, it’s about what it represents. As long as you don’t learn to respect what people believe in or share their pain in their traumas, you aren’t human enough.

Sadaf owes EVERYONE an apology but i doubt she even realizes the seriousness of her offensive actions.”

This post was found written on a  Facebook page and they need an apology from Sadaf

Without wasting even a second on formalities, I'd like to get straight into the issue here. What you see in the picture…

They said the people who indulge in casual sexism, play it cool. It is very hard to identify such people when they try to hide it with a joke. They also said that we need to respect this campaign and its cause. We can’t just bring an emoji to tone down the seriousness and then call it off. Well, since they have asked Sadaf to apologize for it, we are not sure what turn will this take.
