They say you can’t put science in a few things; like religion and love! These are the areas where only gut feeling and faith work. I mean come one! Would you need science to know that your significant other looked at you for precisely 5 seconds when he/she said “I love you” and that’s the real love you have found all your life?!
Or something like, you offered fajar’s prayer and now for the next 3 three days all your wishes would be granted. See, you cannot put science here.
But there are a lot of things where gut feeling or faith doesn’t work. So, that’s where the very intelligent people of the 21st century have tried to put science in it.
If you are in your late teens and early twenties or any age after that you must be wondering why do men always fall in love and confess abruptly then women do! No? This question would have crossed many women’s minds.
Guess what! There’s a proper scientific research for why it happens. Interesting no? Heheh. 😀
Men love faster than women, that’s the truth we all know, but why? In the study of 172 college students, men revealed that they fell in love earlier than women and said so first. The study was published in the journal of social psychology!
Generally, men are seen as less emotional and may not question their emotions as much as women do,” Rachel Needle, Psy.D. she added: “On the other hand, women are often more likely to analyze their feelings and hesitate before saying ‘I love you.”
So, a man might actually not be in love but would say it anyway when his feelings are strong! They say men fall harder and faster, there is no guarantee that how long would this feeling last! Umm… interesting!
But why do men fall in love faster? The author of the study says: “I think women unconsciously postpone love compared to men,” Harrison said. “Women have a lot more to lose reproductively by committing to the wrong man. They are born with a finite number of eggs, yet men produce millions of sperm on a daily basis.” Makes sense? The “science” behind it?
You must be familiar with the “who says I-Love-You first”‘ phenomenon ?! “That’s due to the testosterone flooding mens’ bodies and the way their brains are wired,” Preece tells Bustle. “Both cause them to focus on the person and situation in front of them based on physical attraction — WOOOOOO!
“Most times, men have already balanced out what they need before they meet the partner that would fit their ideal. When they meet that ideal, it is as though their fantasy come to life, making them ‘fall harder’ than women.” says Silva.
It is actually not a very big surprise as of many people can now look back at their romantic relationships and say that yes, indeed!! Men do say “I love you” first!
