Woman are oppressed and suppressed and are made to stay silent if they bear any pain. Harassment of any nature could cause many things including mental and physical pain. In a world where science has achieved marvels, we still have a culture worldwide where women are treated as a third world citizen and made me feel they come after everyone else.
This woman had faced the worst of such case! She is married and has two kids after his father died she inherited some property worth 60-70 lac. After her increase in assets, the behavior of her in-laws completely changed.
They beat her dragged her in streets and strip her naked in front of everyone; when she denied selling her property!
She has an appeal to IG Punjab, Cheif Justice of Pakistan, Cheif Minister, and Prime Minister.
Attock Police recently received an application from Mehreen bibi w/o Abdullah Faiz. The application stated that she got married 7 years ago and has 2 kids. 5 years ago her father died and a property of nearly 60-70 lac came to her as an inheritance. After which her husband and in-laws started torturing her. They sold 12 lac worth of property without my consent. When the beating and torture became violent, I went back to my parent’s home. My father in law haji Faizyaab came and took me back to my home and my sister also decided to come with me.
After coming home, my father in law asked me to come outside the room where his brother Zafaryaab, his son Muhammad Zafar, my brother in laws Abdulrahman and Ammad Faiz and my husband Abdullah were present. They started pressurizing me again to sell my property. When I refused my father in law grabbed me from my hair and threw me on a Chaarpai due to which I lost my left eye. My brother in laws kicked and punched me. Zafaryaab punched me on the face which hit my chin. My father in law, his brother and his son grabbed my shirt and dragged me which tore apart my shirt and I was naked. After this, they threw me out of the house. My sister covered me with her shawl and my brother came to get me took me to his house. Police have registered a case against the culprits.
After being tortured she’s still in not losing faith and asking for help from the government!

This matter should be taken into account by the human rights commision and give her protection. Also, the culprit should pay her back the property they sold without her consent!
