This Woman Suffered Major Abuse because She Openly Disagreed with a Misogynistic Comment

The (in)famous aurat march is more than a month but old people still do not seem to let it go. How?! We hope you remember the signboard that a girl held in aurar march?! How can anyone not! That board made much uproar everywhere, it read: “Apna khana khud garam karo” and the irony is that it did not mention any gender at all.

But the man with “heavy” egos thought it’s compulsory to reply to that. Since “chor ki dari mein tinka” is a very famous saying for people who are guilty of doing something and they can’t stop but defend it. Something similar happened when a Facebook page posted a photo of a woman with burka holding a signboard which read. “Hum khana b khud garam karein gy aur hum roti b pakaeingy, kyun k hum musalman aurtein apny mardon ki izat karty hain.” To which a girl named Nawehya replied that this is a misogynist statement, and women do not need to cook and serve the person to prove that she “respects” him. Later she got heinous relies on her comments and opened up about that on her facebook post.

Here’s what she wrote:

“It’s funny how you talk about respect and preach about respect but fall back when it’s your turn. Isn’t respect reciprocal?
Such a shame when you don’t have the tolerance to indulge in a productive and debatable argument and instead of supporting your argument with facts and logic, you resort to using means of personal attacks and foul language.
TYPICAL!
It shows what circumstances you were brought up under, shows your disgusting mentality. If you can’t stomach an argument that’s not in your favor, then just don’t engage yourself in one. It must’ve bothered you so much that a Female was in opposition that lead to you showing your true self; your nature and upbringing.
Everyone has the right to expression, deal with it and grow some to accept opposition.
If your mother or sister had been of the same views as I, would you still have resorted to the same means as you did here? Would you have sworn at her too? Judging your mentality, I can assume you probably would have.
Shameful that you talk about the Prophet and go on to do exactly what he told you not to.
Shame!
Your parents must be really proud of you.
Shame!

And here’s the Facebook post

It's funny how you talk about respect and preach about respect but fall back when it's your turn. Isn't respect…
