I am a student of Habib University, studying Social Development and Policy. I am in my second year of such a liberal arts university. There’s always a difference between being liberal and being “Besharam”. Being liberal means to incorporate paradox means in your life, whereas, besharam in our society means to enforce philosophies against the norms of the society.
In our society, there are so-called “strong movements” that are being turned into jokes and cracks. One of those movements is, “feminism”. Today, feminism has been turned into a joke and the biggest cause of this ultimate disgrace are the feminists themselves as they are turning, “besharam” instead of “paradox” and “liberal”.
Feminism has turned into a timeless war between Fire Nations vs Water Nations, Marvel vs DC, Coke vs Pepsi, Team Emelia vs Team Rem. Feminists are the side, that burst into flames. Words that you hear if you have a different opinion from the feminists are appeared to be aggressive with lots of frustration and psychologically incorrect.
“What? ahh? why? How dare you to say this? Pagal ho? Aurat kuch bhi kr skti hai. Men are trash. Sab mard aik jese hote hen. Woh dekho kese ghoor raha hai. Larki hun tou kia hua? Tum ghalat hou. Abey Chal! Men are trash. Sab mard aik Jese hote hen. Larki hun tou iska matlb yeh nahi chooriyan pehn ke ghar beth jaun?”
Every individual has a right to freedom of speech. If someone is against feminism, they have all the rights to express their point of view whether it be a boy or even a girl. I am personally against feminism not because it promotes the feminine side, but because it goes against the Islamic teachings and policies. Women! You don’t know, Islam has made sensitive policies for women because Almighty has blessed them with power that does not need to be shown widely. Following feminism does not mean that Islamic teachings shall be forgotten. Whatever you want to persuade, religion comes first in any society.
Why is it always “WOMEN” for you? Why is it never a “WOAH MEN”? Why?
Men are targetted with intellectual sexist terms and are considered to be an abnormal norm of the society in views of feminists of today. They are tackled in responses that include feminism every time. Women today, especially the young girls, are filled with undermining and rightful anger in the name of feminism and hence, they make offensive and personal attacks on men of the society. Considering men as a cause of gender inequality only hampers the success of the feminist movement when its method of achieving equality is aggressively radical. It only gives more opportunity to the one who’s against it.
Okay, it is agreeable that men can be unsafe, unethical sometimes, but, not all men. How can you say “men are trash”? If men are trash so this means you are created out of it, are you created out of trash? No? Why? because you are a woman?
Wrong perceptions of women have turned this terminology of “feminism” completely into an insane breakout.These aggressive feminists bash you hardly just if you have an opinion that goes against the term. Everyone has a right to give an input without accepting you output ladies! The ladies try to enforce their opinion on the opposition of individuals in their surroundings. They do emotional offensive attacks that lead the opposite side to a zipped up mouth. This aggression has turned out to be a barrier for the men of the society to speak up. I mean what are you men afraid of? You are afraid of how women will respond? Let them be stuck with their opinions. Men have a dominant personality and position in our religion and society. This can not be changed by any movement that bashes upon the freedom of speech for any sect or gender.
Women can talk about feminism in a very pleasant and better way. Posting status updates, tweets against men will never ever workout no matter how hard they try. This will lead to the creation of more individuals with minds filled up with frustration against women and thus more oppositions of the feminist movement will be developed. The feminist movement has developed many factions that tend to hurt the end goal of the movement itself. Instead of whining, crying, and fighting, women must try to understand the men perspective as well, it is not that hard enough to learn in a non-pathetic and lousy way.
The best way of getting to your point is by having a proper programmed conversation with the subject, and not attacking someone (especially men in this case) for their opinions, misconceptions or wrongful behavior. Women should stop attacking men directly because this only turns out to be a backlash as extreme intolerant strategies and mindsets as it is extremely hurtful to attack someone’s personal view or point.
