Gone are the days when women were reluctant to speak up about being harassed by filthy men roaming around on the streets of Pakistan. As more cases are now being reported, it is evident that instead of women feeling scared, it is now empowering women to speak up and stand up for themselves! Little do these men know that women are now becoming more aware of such unfathomable acts.

Just recently, another video surfaced the internet where a woman was harassed in public at Hafta Bazaar, Malir Halt, Karachi. The woman was seen wearing an abaya and a niqaab, and she was beating up the middle-aged guy like anything. She was furious with rage and took out all her anger on the guy who harassed her. Many shopkeepers gathered around to see what was going on and guess what, no one stopped her. And they did the right thing!

As seen in the video, it is clear that the guy had shown no remorse whatsoever, and the woman did the right thing beating him up.  It’s amazing to see how more and more women are stepping forward to take actions against such ruthless acts. So what if it’s a country where women are not supported the way they should? We can’t let that stop us from standing up for ourselves.
