Recently, when the 10-year-old Amal Umar’s unfortunate and unjust death was announced by her parents and people were furious over the establishment! She was killed on the busiest road of Karachi after her parents and the two kids were to attend a concert; they got mugged on the signal after which the police cross fired on muggers and bullet hit the car. The bullet fired by police killed the mugger but the other bullet took innocent Amal’s life too!
It’s only been a month after which Karachi heard another 7-year-old kid die of an astray bullet; when she was in her school assembly amidst many other kids.
The crime rate in Karachi has increased greatly. The mugging and the overall street crime!
Three days ago Frieha Altaf, tweeted about how she was mugged while she had her kids in the car
She was on her way back to home from the FPW ’18 around midnight and she had her daughter in the back seat when 3 adolescents came over their car and asked for the belongings. She also said that how her daughter got scared and is still in trauma from that experience.
She wrote that it’s not just it, her real estate agent was robbed 11 times!
