Meera Jee, a name everybody in Pakistan entertainment industry is aware of. She has been the part of the industry for quite some time and has worked on numerous projects, locally and internationally to gain the position she holds today.
After years of being a part of the local industry, Meera decides to leave the country and reside in the United States to embark the new chapter of her life, with her husband Naveed Pervaiz.
She did, however, mention that she will visit Pakistan on regular basis in order to complete the projects she was a part of. “I am an ambassador of Pakistan and being an actor. I will continue working for the respect of my home country,” said Meera Jee in an interview where she announced she will be leaving Pakistan.

Meera also shed light on the scandals Pakistanis continue talking about with respect to her marriage. “I was very sad but I just relied on the truth and was always honest. This is the only reason I am as successful as I am today. However, it is time for me to start a new journey with my husband and move to the USA permanently.”
“Stars always work in crises and I don’t think Mahira is able to work in such circumstances. Our industry needs people like Moammar Rana and Meera – those who are brave. I am sure that the public will soon see many such people in Lollywood.”
