Social Media was called a “bad influence” by the elders. They thought that nothing good will come out these apps and social media accounts. But by the emergence of the and passing of time, we have seen so much good coming out of it! People connecting to each other in no time, people sharing ideas, art, emotions and what not.
There are people influential enough to motivate others to do good in life and get out of the bad! Which would have never been possible without social media or any easier than this!
People using the social media platform created an amazing movement like #MeToo. Which had a much wider impact worldwide than we could even think of!
This Pakistani model named Anam Malik just shared on her Facebook about the pathetic trend in the Pakistani fashion industry. She said that recently, she was hired for a photo shoot and was never paid for it. Also, the designer is not behaving strangely!
She wrote;
“So, I have never posted any statuses related to media issues but I think now I have to because; logon ko izat raas nae hai.
I have done a shoot last month with my co-model and a friend Farwa Kazmiand now the designer is not picking up my call. Mujhy samjh nae aata k KAREENA , KANGNA Bollywood stars or international models or actress ko deyny k leye paysy hain leken humain deyty waqat mout parti hai.
I am a very professional model I come on time always give my 100 % But milta ye hai k ye designers call pick karna bhi zarori na samjhty. It’s a very disrespectful behavior.”
