You know right at this moment what’s on my table? It’s an old chemistry book, ripped with yellow pages, it looks as if it is somewhat a historical book. But it is not so! This is a story, a story of mine. The story which my mind has forgotten but my heart still remembers. Deep down inside me, a feeling is taking birth again.

Holding this book in my hand is making me weaker and stronger at the same time. I remember the first class of Chemistry sitting beside someone dear to me, laughing and enjoying every moment together. We used to call each other best friends, poor us!

Turning the page reminded me of you, the one who changed everything one who made me what I am today. Remember the day you blamed me for doing something which I never had? Because of your lie, nobody gave me a chance to say anything. I was not questioned, I was used. That day I sat alone in the chemistry class. That person who used to call me their best friend is now the best lesson I have learned.

Slowly, I turned the page of my notebook I found a name written with love using vibrant colors. These colors started painting my life. I was turning pink, my body was absorbing these colors, but suddenly, everything blacked-out, the color faded in front of my eye. My heart just reminded me the darkness these colors had filled in my life. I used to be a person full of life. A person who was an open book. A beautiful olive book that was easily used in times of need. These colors are the reason why I am quiet and why I have forgotten the meaning of the word “trust”.

As I was turning another page, my mind lost control, my heart was not breathing as if the page itself wanted to be left unread. I closed the book, but deep down in my mind, I am still in the same chapter…
