Valentine’s day this year was not any different to many people. 90% single people were lurking around social media to find an eligible bachelor to have a good valentine’s day this year, but tough luck. Pakistan government had banned the celebration of valentine’s day for many years and they don’t allow public events or celebrations of it anywhere around in Pakistan. But still, people did their best to celebrate it on their own. Couples at home celebrated by having cake and balloons while others had a romantic candlelight dinner at some fancy restaurant.

This time, Rabia Anum, a famous anchor person shared her photos with her husband on Valentine’s day and there was a roar on the internet. She joined National TV channel as an anchor in 2012 and got famous by the word “lakin” since she uses it a lot while reporting. She shared a  picture on Twitter recently where she had laid her head on her husband’s shoulder and quoted the photo by,”Har kisi ko uski mohabbat mubarak ho”.

And that was it! People came up with all kind of responses, some reminded her of how Pakistan has banned the celebration of Valentine’s day and others wished her in anticipation.

Rabia and her husband are looking so adorable!

Rabia, who is also a CEO at Asaniyan Beauty Salon got married to Obaid last year who works for Emirates Airlines. In Rabia’s honor, a morning show hosted her wedding ceremony.

MA MA MA! *heart eyes*

Looking at these brings two things in everyone’s mind. If you are hooked then these must seem like couple goals but if you’re single then sorry for the dil toots. Don’t worry, we have you covered if you belong to the latter category. We’ll pray for you. Lol, just kidding! Single life has its own charm. You get all the time for yourself and friends. But Valentine’s day does bring the reality that how you need a partner to have a chai date with, or aloo chat or share your samosa with.

Try going out with a friend to the spa and have a good massage, maybe a good session of gossips over a nice pedicure. Catch up with an old friend after office for ice cream and have a good laugh. Because at the end of the day, it’s all about having a good time, right? We know the singles will still cry after all the dilasaay. That’s fine, cry and you have our shoulder. 😉
