This Girl Shares How This Careem Captain Tried To Lecture Her And What He Did Was Extreme “Badtameezi”

“Right to privacy” is actually every individual’s fundamental right! Right to privacy refers that a person’s personal information should not be compromised at all. It should be safe from any sort of public scrutiny. Well, to quote it in a much simpler language “The right to be left alone”

With that we still go out and share, some very personal information. Such as email ID and phone number, photocopy of CNIC! As meager as it seems with these little number so much can be done. But at certain times we trust some people and companies with our information and then it is exploited.

Like this girl shared her incident about her early morning commute to her university, and how she was schooled by this Careem captain about her not-appropriate-dressing. Later in the day, the same driver took her number from the earlier ride and whatsapped her an e-book and then called her 23 times at least!

Here’s what she said:

“- My Careem captain this morning gave me a lecture for first not wearing Islam-appropriate clothing, later for traveling alone early morning, then for my conversation over a phone call in English and lastly using the slang ‘abay yaar’ which is a gunah leading me to Dozakh ki aag. It was 745am and too early for me to talk to anyone in general so I chose not to reply him and ignore the situation pretending I never heard what all he said being busy in my book and he kept talking to himself. Later in the afternoon he decided to send me some Islamic e-book on WhatsApp and upon not responding to his messages he decides to bombard me with his calls which I kept missing because I was in class and genuinely busy, finally managing to attend his 23rd call so he could school me on Qabar ka Azaab and how I should protect my khoobsurati from the world and embrace the right Islam because ‘MUJHE AAPKI FIKR HAI AUR CHAHTA HOON AAP BHI JANNAT MAIN AAYAIN’.

EDIT: People, I’ve reported him to Careem!”

She was even schooled by the guy about her talking in English! What even?!

When she picked his call he said that she should protect her “khoobsurti” from the world and embrace the right Islam because he was “worried” about her. *facepalm*

Well, in Islam it is also forbidden to annoy someone and force yourself upon them. This is completely breaching of privacy! The captain is never allowed to use the customer’s personal after the ride is complete, until in some exceptional cases.
